I really enjoyed this new standalone story that sets up Kristeen Groth's newest series set in the small town of Moonlit Lake. This story is a second chance romance about Joe Mahoney & Ava Sinclair and I enjoyed getting to see how their story comes together as well as the occasional reference to Tangled: A Sweet Friends-to-Lovers Romantic Comedy that Joe was originally introduced in. It was also interesting to have the occasional chapter in Tillie's perspective with the MoonLIT Mavens getting together and plotting and gossiping. I look forward to reading the next book in this series Pride & Protection about Gina and Evan that was being discussed at the end of this story.
